Depressing Day

Naruto was leaning against a tall maple tree. The sky was gray, gloomy and didn't seem to be any close to getting brighter. Naruto, The bright and cheerful Naruto, felt depressed. This kind of weather always did this to him. He sighed, looking away from the depressing sky. His blue eyes fell on two strangers. They were walking down the almost deserted main street. They were a man and a child. Father and son. The sight didn't make Naruto feel any better.

"Let's go home, son." The man told his son with a bright smile. Naruto found himself glaring at them as they passed on.

"This is so depressing" Naruto thought bitterly.

It had always been him, the one alone. No one had ever told him "Let's go home". No one had ever called him son. No, Naruto was alone. Everyone even hated him for a something he had no choice over. The Hokage and Iruka were the only ones who even cared about him, everyone else didn't.

"NARUTO!!" an irritated voice exclaimed, making Naruto jump.

BANG

A fist slammed him over the head, making him see stars.

"Sakura-chan, N-nani?" Naruto asked with injured eyes.

"We've been looking all around for you, baka!" She said with an annoyed voice. "Are team was suppose to meet at Ichiraku's two hours ago, even Kakashi-sensei is there!"

"Dobe" said Sasuke with a glare.

Sakura looked at Naruto closely. "Are you feeling good? I mean you missing out on Ramen is a first."

Naruto flashed his foxy grin. "So you actually care?" he asked grinning.

Sakura's face flushed and she snapped, "Just hurry up baka!"

She turned on her heels and stormed away towards Ichiraku's. Sasuke looked at Naruto for a few seconds and then left too. Naruto looked after them with a small smile on his face.

"Mabye they care after all"
