Though liked by most
I'm forced to play dumb
About his intrusion on my love

Despite what's within
We've smiled together
Masked with a clumsy façade
I hid dreams destroyed
Ugliness covered underneath
Every step I tried to take
Closer to her radiant face
I was glad and sure that she felt the same
But by some cruel twist of fate
She kept falling for him
In spite of our smiles
we're not together
but closely bound
and bound to be close
through a way that's not love
Green envy clouding my thoughts
Whirling, changing
Simply taking over
A picnic for two happened some time back
Descendents of crimson ate unawares
Laughing, eating heartily
Just content in the other's company
Oblivious to the lurking green
In spite of my tears
They laugh together
My feelings ignored
Shoved aside, broken
Lest I dare to hope
Green envy clouding my thoughts
Twirling, racing
Swiftly taking over
A silent moment between the two passed
Underneath a celestial dome
They kissed.
The two were clearly meant for each other
My purpose, to not exist
In spite of my heart
They love each other
No longer can I act my part
Their happiness became my darkness
Likewise, hope became despair
Green envy marks
My coming of rage
Swirling, shifting
I've already been taken
