Author's Note: The hatch imploding was one of my favourite episodes; it was just so funny. Even to this day I still find amusement in asking the ever popular question, "Where are Desmond's clothes?" And thus, this poem was born…

Where are Desmond's Clothes?

Strange and mysterious events had occurred on that day:

Indeed, there had been many things to ponder.

But there was one thing in particular bringing cause for dismay,

Making all the islanders wonder.

-xXx-

It's the question everyone's asking about,

The answer, it seems, no one knows;

Nobody's yet been able to figure it out:

Where are Desmond's clothes?

-xXx-

It's the best gossip of the week;

The island's greatest unsolved mystery.

What was the cause of the Scottish Streak?

Theories abound, but no two ever agree.

It's the question everyone's asking about,

The answer, it seems, no one knows;

Nobody's yet been able to figure it out:

Could the hatch have blown off his underwear?

None can really say.

But it seems one minute they were there,

And the next they had gone astray!

It's the question everyone's asking about,

The answer, it seems, no one knows;

Nobody's yet been able to figure it out:

Where are Desmond's clothes?

-xXx-

Even to this day they've yet to be found.

Just where could those garments have gone?

Without them, Des continues to walk around,

Hiding in the jungle with no clothes on!

The answer, it seems, no one knows;

Nobody's yet been able to figure it out:
