Future Dreams

The Rangers look at the Animarium. They couldn't believe it. Their lives as Power Rangers are over. Merrick looked as the Animarium started to go into the sky. It wasn't fair that the woman that he loved was gone, She was up on the Animarium and he was on earth. He remembered the time that they spent alone together. He had dreamt that they were going to get married, but that wasn't going to happen in real life. As soon as the Animarium was no longer seen the Rangers left. They said they good-bye and they were on their way. Merrick went back to his home. He went to bed. He didn't really feel like doing anything. As soon as his head hit the pillow he was asleep.
Merrick looked around he was on the Animarium. He walked around; of course he pinched himself to make sure that he wasn't dreaming. The pain was real.
"Merrick." Princess Shayla said. Merrick turned around to see that she was holding a baby in her arms.
"Princess Shayla." Merrick said.
"It Shayla. I couldn't leave without saying seeing you one last time. Plus let you know that you have a daughter." Shayla said smiling.
"We had a child." Merrick said surprised.
"Yes." Shayla moved closer so Merrick can see their daughter.
"I don't get it." Merrick said.
"I am giving you a choice. You can see us in your dream or you can go on with your life." Shayla said.
"I want to be with you two." Merrick told Shayla..
"So when you asleep you will be here with us on the Animarium. When you die you will be buried here." Shayla said.
"Yes. I said that in my will, as Alyssa told me." Merrick said.
"I am sorry. I had to do what was best for you Merrick my love." Shayla told Merrick as tears started to stream down her face.
"It's okay." Merrick said, moving over to her side and wiping the tears from her face.
Princess Shayla and Merrick looked at each other and their lips touch each other's. Both of them missed each other deeply. They broke apart.
"I am glad we found a way to be with each other," Shayla said. Merrick could feel that he needed to wake up.
"Shayla, Sweetheart, I need to go, but I will be back soon." Merrick said, he kissed Princess Shayla and then he faded away.
Merrick who was wakened by Cole, who had a worry look on his face. Merrick got up.
"Cole are you okay?" Merrick asked.
"The question is are you okay?" Cole asked.
"I couldn't be better. Why don't we get something to eat." Merrick replied back. Cole was surprised.
"Okay." Cole said, as they left Merrick's home. Merrick was in a much better mood because he was with the one he loves, even if it is in his dreams. He was happy.
