This idea came to me after finishing TF Armada. I've always really wanted to write a TF fic.

Coping With the Sorrow
Everyone was celebrating. Unicron had been destroyed and the Autobots had won the age old war. However, Alexis didn't feel like celebrating. Starscream's death was a shock for everybody, but devastating for her. She cared about him, he was her friend.
"Hey Alexis! Come and join the party." Carlos shouted.
"Maybe later." Carlos didn't notice the small bit of sadness in her voice.
"You sure?" he asked.
"Yes, I'm sure." she replied.
"Okay then."
She couldn't wait any longer, she had to go see it. Without a word, the girl headed towards the Decepticon base.
The noise of the party faded away as she walked further. Soon there was nothing but silence. Somehow, it felt soothing. She wondered for a second if the cold, dark vaccum of space could possibly take away the sadness and pain she was feeling. Talking to the others about it didn't seem like a good idea. They probably wouldn't understand, except maybe Rad.
She soon arrived at her destination. There were still a few Decepticons wandering around, but she didn't care.
Starscream's sword was still stuck in the ground. She touched it with her hand, the energy that it had was long gone. At least she didn't have to watch him die. At first, she thought that it didn't happen, but the crack in her necklace made from the Mars rock made it apparent that he did die.
"Why did you have to die?" she cried sinking to the ground and wrapping her arms around the sword.
"I thought I might find you here."
"Rad. What are you doing here?" Alexis questioned. More importantly how much had he seen?
"I came to make sure you were okay."
"Well, I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me." Rad kneeled down next to her.
"We all felt sad when Starscream died."
"I'm so confused. I didn't cry this much when Optimus died. she said. "Maybe it's because I liked Starscream more than a friend." she thought.
"His death wasn't for nothing. He convinced Megatron to form an alliance with the Autobots."
"There could've been another way though." she said quietly.
For a moment, everything was silent. Rad gave Alexis a hug.
"Thanks Rad."
"Come on, let's go back." He held out his hand.
"Okay." They started walking away, but she paused. "You go ahead. I want to stay for a few more minutes."
When he was out of view, Alexis approached the sword and kissed it.
"Goodbye Starscream. I... I love you.
