I'd Lie

Summary: Something new happens between Sam and Freddie, but where does this leave Carly? Story is better than the summary, I promise! (: Title is based off of the Taylor Swift song.

Disclaimer: I do not own iCarly. If I did, I would be Sam, and Freddie and I would be together forever.

A/N: This is my first FanFic, and I'm not really a writer, but the idea popped in my head and I just had to share it! I like to write long chapters but this one is kind of short, sorry! Takes place a week after the iKiss episode took place.

~Chapter 1~

"What?! YOU KISSED SAM?!" Carly yelled as she gasped and nearly fell over. just as Freddie tried to shut the door in her face.

As if it were nothing, he said, "Well Carly, you asked me why I've been acting so weird lately, there you go."

He was right, she had been pestering him all week to figure out what it was, because after the last iCarly webcast when Sam made her little announcement and left unexpectedly, Freddie hadn't been the same. This past week, all Freddie could do was staring into space with a smile. He rarely went over to Carly's house anymore and he even stopped doing his math homework. Now that she knew the reason why, Carly was dumbfounded. Never in a million years did she, or anyone, think that Freddie and Sam would ever get along, much less share their first kisses.

"But-fighting-always-you-Sam-HUH?"

"Carly, I was just as surprised as you when it happened. It all started when we just wanted to get our first kisses out of the way, but I think I'm really starting to *gulp* like Sam. There's just something about her…"

And with that Freddie cocked his head to the side and began daydreaming. Carly wondered what was going through his head. Well, he did always fall for girls fast, she thought. But Sam? She was the most unlikely girl for Freddie to fall in love with. She was always mean to him, constantly calling him "Freddork" and insulting his mother. She marveled at what true love could make a person like Freddie overlook.

After about 5 minutes, Carly broke the silence. "Tell her how you feel."

"ARE YOU INSANE? She would throw a meatball in my face or break my arm!"

"Just do it. She might feel the same way.. If she did truly hate you she would have broken your arm when you asked if she wanted to kiss…"

"You know Carly… I'll think about it, but don't get your hopes up…Thanks for always being such a good friend to me."

"No problem Freddie," she smiled as they turned their backs and closed their doors.

She never expected that Freddie would get over her and fall for Sam, but she was glad that he was finally over her.
