It had been about 5 years since Taichi had been to the Digital World, a long, well-deserved break. Even though he was happy he didn't have to go back to the Digital World, he still missed all of the friends he had met there. Such as the Digimon friends, like Agumon, Yukidramon, and the rest. He especially missed his Chosen Children friends, which whom he had spent a long time with, such a long time ago.
Little did he know, he'd be running into those friends, very soon.
After many months of studying, and preparation, he had taken the tests to get into Tokyo University. Taichi didn't know why he wanted to go there so much. It was just something of the past. He figured it had just been a dream that he confused for an actual event.
Taichi hadn't kept in contact with many of the Chosen Children. Of course, he was still talking to Hikari, because she was his little sister. Yamato was his best friend, currently. Even though Taichi and Yamato fought a lot, they were like brothers. Takeru, since he was Yamato's brother, of course talked to Taichi. (But Taichi was too busy glaring at him, because Takeru was going out with Hikari) But, he hadn't kept in contact with the rest of the Chosen Children, unfortunately.
Both Taichi and Yamato got excepted to Tokyo University. Which made them very happy, because TU was the best university in Japan.
Which surprised everyone, especially Taichi's teachers.

Saturday, September 1st, 2007.

"Yamato, Tadima!"
"... Oiii... Baka, Taichi..."
Yamato was shaking his head, wondering how he got stuck with Taichi has his roommate.
"Yamato! We were destined to share an apartment" Taichi said, full of hope and also starry-eyed.
"Taichi, we can't make a mess of our apartment, so soon. We're having another roommate. His name is... Makoto. No! That's not right... I wish Takeru had better handwriting!"
A brown haired girl knocked on the door, holding a piece of paper with the room number, "201" on it.
"... Matte..."
Taichi opened up the door, only to be shocked to see his old friend, (You knew this was coming) Sora.
"Konnichwa Sora-chan! It's so nice to see you!"
"O genki desuka? Yagami-kun."
"Genki."
Yamato, not realizing who it was, went to the door, and greeted her politely, "Konnichwa. Hajimashite?"
"Yamato-san, you don't have to be so polite."
"Takenouchi-san!"
"Konnichwa Yamato-san, O Genki desuka..?"

An Hour Later

"Yagami-kun, what are you majoring in..?"
"This might sound silly, but I'm going for Law"
"Taichi? ... That doesn't sound like you.."
".. Heh.. Heh.. He likes to argue, Takenouchi-san"
"What about you, Yamato-san?"
Taichi started to laugh.
"He's going to be a teacher."
"I didn't know you had it in you.. Ishida-sensei..."
Yamato started to blush, and then shook his head.
"Takenouchi-san, what are you going to major in..?"
"Seriously? Business, and then E-ng-ri-sh studies."
