[Title] What Would They Think?

[Rating] PG-13 [Word Count] 428

[Notes] A Demon Diary drabble. My first one up, and I hope I'm doing this right... Yes, it's yaoi. But if you've read my other stories, then I think you'd learn to expect it of me. *sigh*

Eclipse was worried. He was nervous. He was scared. The last time Raenef had gone to a Demon Lord gathering of any sort, Eclipse had been utterly humiliated. And now they were going, and leaving the castle to those ridiculous mortals.

Raenef came in, wearing a white tunic, down to his ankles, shoulders exposed. Oh no. Eclipse thought. It's too simple; they'll all mock him. But still, I can't make him change it. He is my lord, and he does look lovely in that tunic. Hold on a second, 'LOVELY'? Since when did Eclipse, fourth highest demon in existence, who served in the Hangma War use crap talk like 'lovely'? Oh, that's right. Ever since he'd fallen for his master, Raenef. He sighed. "At least it's not animal print," Eclipse muttered to himself.

"I'm ready Eclipse!" Raenef announced cheerfully, planting a kiss on his tutor's cheek. Eclipse turned to return the kiss, this time a thorough one on Raenef's mouth.

"Eclipse?" Raenef asked.

"Hmm?" The elder demon replied as he lay sweet kisses on Raenef's neck.

"Are we...is this normal? For demons? You know... us?" Raenef asked with an uneasy wince.

Eclipse withdrew himself from Raenef, putting a hand on this shoulder. How to put this, without upsetting his lord? Well, of course, this wasn't right, demon lord didn't fall in love with lesser demons, certainly not if they were both boys...

He knew this question would come up eventually. Raenef always wanted to please him, to do everything right, so why couldn't he answer?

"Eclipse, I demand an answer," Raenef insisted.

Eclipse hesitated again before giving a final answer. "No. It's not. This behavior would be inappropriate in front of other demons. They wouldn't... understand. What happens... between us... probably shouldn't..." "Do you want to stop?" Raenef asked, as tears formed in his eyes. "Was I wrong again?"

"You could never be wrong in my eyes, my liege." Eclipse said, kissing away the tear that slid down Raenef's porcelain complexion.

"Then what do we do?" Raenef hung his head, almost ashamed of himself, tears now spilling freely from his eyes.

"Well, first, we go to wash you face. Then, we go to the gathering, and not of word of this when we get there. And then, when we get back, things go back to how they were. Alright?" he replied, lifting Raenef's head up to look at him.

"Okay Eclipse." Raenef kissed Eclipse again, for luck. "I love you." He added.

"I love you as well, Raenef," leaving out the 'master' for once, and kissed him back.
