JOE AND THE MAGIC WATCH

This short story is the first of a short series of books about Joe and his adventure as well as his strong feelings and sad times in his life.

1. Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

MY NAMES JOE

Hello my name is Joe and im a boy who's only 11 but I have gone on a great adventure that I will tell you about but I have had sad things happen to me in the past. When I was young I had to go and live with a new mum and dad and this made me very sad. Although now I know it was all for the good back then I just hated it. Like I said im Joe and I went on a great adventure and im going to write it down in my diary so you can read my story as well.

CHAPTER 2

MY DIARY

So I said I was going to write my feelings and my adventure down in my diary so I am keep reading to find out my adventure.

So one day after school at about four pm my mum and I went into a watch shop and looked at six or seven watches but one of the watches had a sparkle to it. It was golden and as bright as the sun . My mum saw I wanted it so she brought it for me. She put the £35 pounds into the shop keepers hands and he said "cheers did you know that watch is magic" I thought what a load of rubbish but was it true!

CHAPTER 3

FEELINGS

Saturday 30th of March

"Joe its time to go to school" mum shouted up the stairs.

That morning I felt really sad and did not want to go to school so when my mum said " hello had a good rest " I said in a angry voice "shut your gob mum" and when she said " have a good day at school" I shouted back in her face " go and die in a hole "

When I got back from school I felt really sad because I had upset my mum so I thought and I thought some more then I said one word yes only one word and that was "sorry"

CHAPTER 4

THE WATCH AND BEING SAFE

Monday 1st Of April

Back to the adventure then on the Monday morning my watch glowed a bit and a voice from the watch said " go to the hill that you look out on in your maths lessons at 11 .30 am" I thought what the hell but I did what it told me to do. When I got there I saw a man dressed in a grey jumper with a pointy hat on. He said under his breath " im the great wizard and im here to help you " and I said " what a load of rubbish" he shouted back at me " I made that watch glow so you would pick it so I could speak to you though it" and I replied "wow!" then he said " think of a world were you would be safe all day every day and nothing would go wrong and you would like school" and I shouted back " uh I will never like school" then the wizard said " on this Thursday I want you to come back at 11 .30am up the hill I want to tell you something" then he vanished. I wondered if I had seen him or was it just a really good dream.

CHAPTER 5

ACTIONS

The next day I thought how could I be kind to my mum so I thought I wont be rude and instead I will be kind. Then I thought that my mum loves me and she wont ever let me go so its better to be kind than be rude just cause im in a bit of a grump.

Then I thought of meeting the wizard again on Thursday .

CHAPTER 6

WE MEET FOR A 2ND TIME

Thursday 4th of April

It was the day and it was the time when I met the wizard for the 2nd time and he said one thing and only one thing and he said " you came back Joe now watch as you vanish as well as I" Then he laughed and I vanished .

I came out on a planet at least I thought it looked like a planet.
