Disclaimer: I don't own teen titans or any of their characters. What can I say, the world's a cruel place.

Red X sat with his back against the streetlight, hands tied behind it. He was twisting his hands around and around, but the ropes just wouldn't budge. He cursed the H.I.V.E Five again for leaving him there. They had also set off an alarm nearby. Not only would the cops show up soon, but the noise was irritating as hell.
A shadow dropped down before him, slowly slinking forward.
"Who's there?" Red called, trying to keep his voice level. It was never good to be tied to a pole when strangers come for you.
Robin stepped into the circle of light, revealing himself and the pair of handcuffs he was holding.
"Who are you?" he asked, sounding slightly confused.
Red silently thanked his lucky stars that he wasn't in his Red X suit, and replied, "Alex."
"No last name?"
"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours," Red smirked at the Boy Wonder. "You mind untying me?"
"I don't help criminals," Robin sneered; suddenly, the handcuffs made sense.
Red stopped breathing. "What do you mean?"
"You don't hear the alarm? You're one of the few people around here, and definitely the most conspicuous."
Red spluttered furiously. "But it wasn't me! The H.I.V.E Five did that! I'm tied to a pole, for crying out loud!"
"The H.I.V.E Five? Why would they tie you up?"
Red thought fast. "I was going to turn them in."
Robin's masked eyes widened. "Really?"
"Yeah, I saw them break in, and I ran for the payphone." He nodded towards the conveniently located phone booth to his far left.
"But they caught you?"
"Obviously."
"Oh, than I guess you can go."
Red's eyebrows shot up. "Really?!"
Robin nodded and came closer, tucking the handcuffs into a pouch on his belt. He retrieved a bird-a-rang and started cutting Red's bindings. "You're innocent aren't you? I mean why else would they bother securing you to a streetlight."
"I just thought that with your line of work, you'd be less trusting."
"Oh, I don't trust you. I just think you're kind of cute."
Red's eyes nearly popped out of his head as he gaped at the Boy Wonder. Robin was gay?! Red quickly schooled his features into an arrogant mask. "Kind of cute? Are you kidding me? I'm gorgeous."
Robin chuckled. "My mistake; you are completely right. You're gorgeous."
Since Red's hands were now free, he grabbed Robin by the hips and flipped their positions, crushing his lips to the younger boy's. Robin gave a startled yelp, and Red pressed harder, poking his tongue into the other's mouth. Then he sharply drew back.
"See ya around, kid."
Red ran down the street, turning corners every so often until he was sure Robin would be lost even if he wasn't too stunned to follow.
Robin, still at the streetlight, touched his tingling lips.
He sighed, "Starfire's going to kill me."

A/N: I just think Robin and Red X are really cute together. I like Robin/ Slade also, but it's hard to portray them as fluffy, and I like fluff just a teensy bit more than the darker Slade stories.
About Red's name, Alex: I don't know; I just think it's fitting. Red X, AleX. It makes sense in my world.
Umm…I think that's it. Don't forget to review. If something's wrong, I can't fix it unless you tell me about it. And if everything's perfect, well that's nice to share, too.
I love you all. –air kisses-
