Skyler and Madison were busy chopping wood while discussing their latest defeat and the status of their team.
"Leo didn't say where he was going for answers?" Skyler asked.
"Sometimes my team mates don't tell me things," Madison answered with a snark attitude. Madison and Skyler had often clashed when it came to team politics. "I was kinda hoping Leo would be the exception."
"Yeah, well in time," Skyler added with a sigh of worry. "We don't what the Wanda Maximoff showed him."
"I don't know what she showed you," Madison fired back taking a swing at some wood.. "I just know it made you do something stupid."
Skyler moved the chopped wood into her pile and proceeded to place another on the chopping stump.
"Earth's mightiest heroes," Skyler added. "Pulled us apart like cotton candy."
"Seems like you walked away alright," Madison added remembering their first major encounter with Ultron. Madison looked up at Skyler with a flare in her eyes.
"Is that a problem," Madison asked with a gruff.
"I don't trust a guy without a dark side," Skyler added taking a swing at some wood. "Call me old fashioned."
"Well let's just say you haven't seen it yet," Madison shot back with an angry look in her eyes.
"Princess Amber and I have been doing research," Skyler brought up.
"That would affect the team," Madison said holding a piece of log.
"That would end the team!" Skyler yelped. "Isn't that the mission? Isn't that the "why we fight?" so we can end the fight, so we get to go home!?"
Madison ripped apart the small log with her bears hands in front of Skyler in anger over her comments. Skyler felt her heart rate increase for the sight of it. Madison looked back at Skyler.
"Everytime someone tries to win the war before it starts innocent people die," Madison said bluntly. "Everytime."
Skyler looked at her sister in shock and exhaustion over their heated argument. Things from this day on would never be the same between them.
