"Speaking"

Disclaimer: I do not own Code Geass! If I did, Shirley would never be alive, Suzaku and Lelouch would be together, Nunnally would be able to walk, and C.C would be burning a hole in Lelouch's pocket with her pizza bills! :D.

C.C: DAMN RIGHT!

Suzaku Kururugi stared down at the gray stone in front of him. Even after 7 years it never got easier. Forest green eyes closed as he remembered those days that used to make him smile.

The way those amethyst eyes shone as the person smiled….

Suzaku clenched his fists. If only he could of done something.

The way their almost porcelain skin gleamed in the sunlight….

Suzaku could feel the tears flow from his closed eyelids. The warm droplets landed on the grave in front of him, being soaked into the ground.

The way the person smiled as they took their last breath and faded away….

Suzaku broke down. Falling on his knees as the tears spilled even more. He could never forget that day, no matter how hard he tried. He could still remember holding the body close as it ran cold.

"I'm stupid" Suzaku mumbled to himself. "A worthless piece of trash that couldn't do anything!"

Suzaku shot up when a hand landed on his shoulder.

"It's not your fault" The voice said softly. Suzaku stood and turned. Forest green eyes met with amethyst ones and Suzaku softly smiled.

"Lelouch…. What are you doing here?"

Lelouch chuckled before rearranging his hand back to under the bundle he held. "Just came to get you". Suzaku laughed.

"Always coming to check up on me huh? Things never change". Suzaku moved the blanket away from the bundle in Lelouch's hands. A baby slept peacefully, a mop of brownish-black hair on its head.

"Lelouch?"

"Hmmm?"

"What are we going to say when he grows up and asks why we come here every year.?" Lelouch frowned.

"We'll say where visiting a very special person" He replied. Suzaku turned around so that both of them where looking at the tombstone.

"A very special person indeed." Suzaku whispered as he read the inscription.
