Hello everybody! Instead of continuing After The Last Breath, I'll the incompetent person I am and make a new fanfic, however, I won't throw my other fanfic away, so don't worry o3o

What inspired me to make this fanfic was the 3rd extra chapter from Blood Drive, being revealed that the only person who ever called Shimada by his first name was Fukuroi. Sooo, my headcanon went on fly away mode .3.

Sitting in front to his house, a boy sighs. He just moved in to that neighborhood, and he was lonely. He was always lonely, even before moving.

The boy was wondering if he would ever have a friend, and sinking at that thought, started to cry quietly. Just when he was sobbing really hard, he heard a voice:

-"Hey, are ya alright?"

Slowly, he raised his head to see the owner of that voice; A boy, apparently his age, with long, red hair, a sleveless orange shirt and black shorts. At first, he thought the kid was a girl due to his hair, but later noticed his masculine traits, and the soccer ball he was holding. However, he did not stop crying.

-"Hey, hey" continued the strange kid. "Calm down, bro. What's ya name?"

The boy struggled a little to pronounce his own name, with his trembling voice:

-"M-Masato...Fukuroi..." he finally said, shaking.

The kid sat next to Masato, with a huge grin in his face.

-"Well, nice to meet'cha!" He said it aloud. "My name's Kai Shimada."

-"Shi...ma...da?" Masato repeated.

-"Hey, stop with the formal thing, just call me Kai" he told Masato, with a wider grin. "Never seen ya around here, are ya new?"

-"...Yes..." Masato answered, and after he stopped sobbing, pointed his finger at the house behind him. "I moved to this house."

-"Whoa, dude!" Kai said, jumping from his place and standing up. "That means we are neighboors!" after that, Kai pointed his finger to the house that was located next to Masato's.

Masato stood up, with tears still flowing through his face; and as Kai noticed them, he offered the ball in his hands:

-"Hey, wanna play some soccer? It's kinda boring when ya playing by yourself...I mean, if ya want to-"

-"Yes! Of course!" Kai was cut by Masato, who shouted out with excitement. As he realized, he tried to calm down. "I mean, yes, please..."

Kai smiled gently and started running towards the end of the street.

-"The one who reaches last will kiss a frog!" he shouted, followed with a laugh.

-"No fair! That's cheating!" screamed Masato, now following the redheaded boy with a smile.
