One Shot.
All she saw was a blinding white light, it was so bright that the emerald eyed girl had to shut them tightly.
She knew what was happening. She was dieing. But she was finally happy.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a welcoming view in front of her. A large meadow with everything she had ever imagined in it.
Her eyes then landed upon a lone figure in the distance, a smile formed itself on her lips as she took a step forward. Her eyes never left him as the mild wind blew her hair away from her face.
"Sasuke-kun.."
She whispered his name so quietly that she wasn't even sure he had heard her, but the raven haired boy turned his head towards her and his dark onyx eyes didn't leave her form for seconds until he finally began walking towards her.
"Hn."
There it was again, the sentence that Uchiha Sasuke was known for, and that Sakura had always hated.
"How long have you been here?" She asked, motionning to the paridise around them. A distant look appeared in the boy's eyes as a small smirk graced his pale lips. "A while." He simply said, his deep masculine voice like a melody to the girl's ears as she nodded slightly. "Naruto misses you. He finally achieved his lifelong dream." She whispered as Sasuke still watched her. "What about you?" He then asked, her jade eyes looked at him with a bit of a sad look in them.
"It was my time."
No other words were spoken as Sakura walked to the waters and only then did she notice her reflection. She wasonly wearing a white gown, looking like an angel. She smiled as she then looked at Sasuke. "Ne, Sasuke-kun. Let's wait for Naruto and Kaka-sensei." She whispered as she traced a small circle with her finger in the pure water."I'm sure they're thinking about us, so let's wait, one day, we will be a team again." She said, adding a small laugh at the end of her words as she stood once again.
She might have died on that mission to kill one of the Akatsuki, but never had the girl been so happy in life or even death. She was with the boy she loved. The twenty year old had never thought that she would see him here. She hadn't thought she would ever see him again.
"Aa."
She knew what that meant, he would wait with her. And she was happy for once. The Uchiha made his way to her as he stared at his own reflection. "So, how was your life?" He asked, his eyes showing a bit more emotion, but he still didn't seem too happy.
She started talking, and when she finished, he even told her his story. Days became weeks, weeks became months, and before they knew it, the gray haired jounin joined them in paridise, until the day that the blonde joined them with his huge grin and contagious mood, and everything just seemed right again.
