Drip. Drip. Drip.
A constant dripping sound is heard easily over the crackle of the fires.
Red like Blood drops stains my dreams and brings me from the place they rest.
Crescent Rose besides the fire of the burning building. A small pool of blood surround the crescent blade.
White was cold and always yearning, burdened by eternal rest.
Weiss, the Heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, lay in her own pool of crimson blood. The fire grows dangerously near to her snow white figure, but she doesn't move. She just lay there; her eyes wide open, with a horrified look plastered on her face. Her prized weapon is still grasped firmly in her hand, but the metal of it has begun to melt. It was only a matter of time before the dust inside the revolving chamber would be set ablaze, triggering an explosion that would finish off the Heiress.
Black the Beast has become a shadow.
Blake, the ex-White Fang member, lays on the ground, a heavy piece of roofing keeping her from moving. She has long since stopped struggling, and can only watch the fire grow nearer. She can only watch as she's only a minute or so away from being burned alive. Gambol Shroud lays amidst the flames, barely recognizable as a weapon anymore.
"Yang… Why…"
Yellow beauty burns all.
Yang stood away from the flames of the burning house, not moving an inch.
She watched a dust explosion go off.
She heard the blood-curdling scream of Blake being burned alive.
Yet she did nothing. She simply stood there, holding her dear baby sister in her arms. Her tattered red cloak hanged loosely off her shoulders. Ruby's eyes were shut, and tears were freely flowing. Blood dripped down off of Ruby's limp arm and hand. Finally, Ruby let out a pained and saddened cry, before taking her last breath.
Yang could only find the strength to frown.
What had she done?
Drip. Drip. Drip.
A/N: While this might not be the happiest of stories, I would like to wish everyone a happy new year. Hope everyone had a great Christmas of 2013, and let's hope 2014 goes well xD. Who's waitin' for Volume 2?
...And as for what Yang did... Well, use your imagination. Waters Knight out.
