Hilde closed her eyes. She sighed and leaned her head against the cool glass of the window. The silence around her was deafening. She hated not having Duo around. It was too quiet. He always made everything more fun. Even the most insignificant, meaningless task. She wondered how long it would be before he came back. She wondered how long she could wait.

When I close my eyes
And you're not there
I feel this emptiness inside
But do you care?

She shivered, but she wasn't cold. She hugged herself. She wondered why she never felt so lonely. Throughout her entire life she'd been alone. But she also never had anyone love her before. And now she did. Hilde smiled as the memories of last night filled her head. She'd never had so much fun. She'd never felt so great!
Hilde's smile faded. She loved Duo so much.
