Tap...tap...tap. It was pitch black as far as she can see. All she can hear was the sound of footsteps. She ran through the darkness that leads to nowhere. Suddenly the footsteps begin to charge after her. She made a dash until she hit a wall. The person raised their sword ready to strike until she heard a very familiar voice: "Hey can you hear me, child? Open your eyes! Rosalina!"
Fumu woke up with a cold sweat. She had been suffering nightmares ever since she was taken to the Comet Observatory with the famous Princess Knight Riley Seretta Slyie. Her mentor was away taking to Rosalina, a beautiful woman that is their guide to help them on their adventure. She got out of bed, breathing heavily at the thought of having the nightmare again. Just then Riley came down the stairs to check on her student. There is one word that she uses to describe her mentor. Beautiful. It seems like all the time when she's wearing her scarf and cloak over her face. She had multi-colored eyes that Fumu always loved about her is her eyes. It made her curious to see her face under her scarf and cloak.
"Fumu I heard you screaming while I was talking to Rosalina. Did you have another nightmare again my dear?" the star warrior asked the yellow-skinned girl with great concern.
"Yes, I did Riley."
"LIsten we need to stop these nightmares and the only way we can do that is to destroy Nightmare with Kirby and Meta Knight by our sides. You know Kirby can't face off against Nightmare alone and your the only one that can summon his Warp Star."
Yet she noticed that the human acted like Meta Knight at sometimes only when she really has to. She was also a star warrior after all. They were getting prepared to go to the first galaxy the Good Egg Galaxy to collect their first set of Power Stars. When they meet for the very first time she was confused at why Riley needed her for the adventure.
"You don't understand me at all do you young one?"
The cappy looked around to make sure no one was watching them. She had met a mysterious person wearing an armored-dress. She didn't even know if the person was dangerous.
"No. I don't understand at all."
"I will tell you the truth if you promise not to freak out on me now child."
"I won't freak out."
"Nightmare has returned. I've been observing Kirby and Meta Knight, turns out they are on an adventure to stop Kirby's nightmares. I know this may shock you but that's not the worst, Nightmare is trying to take back what is his. I believe that it maybe Kirby he's trying to take back."
Fumu was in shocked at what the person was telling her. Now she must come with her on an adventure.
"Now I must take you to space. We have a whole adventure ahead of us."
"I didn't catch your name."
"Riley, Riley Serretta Slyie."
They landed on the Good Egg Galaxy after being launched to the galaxy. Riley was telling Fumu about the types of monsters that they will encounter during their adventure. Now they venture into the depths of the galaxy going to a planet to planet, hunting down Power Stars. But little did they know they were being hunted as well.
On the borders of Gamble Galaxy, a huge white circle flew around the base with a black blob following it close behind. Zero, the leader of Dark Matter is on a mission. To kill the girls from ever getting to Nightmare in a final showdown. Zero doesn't work for Nightmare Enterprises he rules alone and doesn't work with anyone but Dark Matter.
"Dark Matter," Zero spoke. "Find the girls, the yellow one and the star warrior. Bring them to me so I may kill them once and for all for getting in our way!"
"Yes boss," replied Dark Matter as he flew out of the base into space.
"Soon enough you pesky girls will be dead before you can even help that pink hero and the wrenched knight that I hate!"
AN: This is the revamped story of Destroy The Nightmares! The last version wasn't very good so it's just Riley and Fumu on an adventure with Zero hunting them down to kill them once and for all. Little did they know that Nightmare is also after them as much as Zero and Dark Matter are. Chapter two coming right up!
