Sooooooo! This is somewhat a Halloween one shot or something! It's basically the same plot as my other one shot Phantasmagoria. Hope you like this...k. :)
"Beautiful sky tonight, don't you think?" Clare asked Eli as she laid next to him on the needle-like grass. He looked over to her, happy that she still visited him.
"It is." Eli replied softly.
It's crazy how Clare was normal with all of this. He still loved her. She still loved him. That was basically it. Every while, when she got the chance to, she visited Eli. But she never told anyone where she was heading because she knew they would disapprove of this.
"So, how's Adam doing?"
"His hanging in there. He's doing fine. Coming back to reality that you can't come back to Degrassi." Eli nodded at her answer. "Everyone misses you though."
"By everyone, you mean the people who didn't think I was psycho which narrows it down to you, Adam, and my parents." Everything tonight was cool and silent. The only thing you could hear was the whispering of the Autumn wind. For an October night here in Toronto, it was surprisingly normal. The sky was dotted with stars and the full moon was out and resembled a silvery marble in the sky.
"So, at what time do you think I'll finally realize that you'll never come back?" Clare wondered.
"That's for you to figure out. But you can always come visit me whenever you feel. or I'll even come visit you. I'll always be here, Clare. Always. I love you." His words brought a smile to her face.
"I love you too." For a second, she forgot that he was only her imagination taking over. She leaned in to give him a kiss and he was gone. Faded away. Like a ghost. It's because he is. Always will be. And she'll have to except that.
Clare got up from the ground and looked over at Eli's grave once more.
"This was never supposed to turn out like this.." She murmured to herself before walking away with her hands deep into her coat pocket. And as she walked away from Eli's grave, silently, he watched her, with sorrow and sadness in his eyes before fading into the night.
Happy Halloween guys
