A/N ooook... well, I have honestly nothing to say. except... READ AND REVIEW!!!!

Yuki walked down the halls after school, trying his best to hurry to catch up to Tohru and Kyo.

He heard a sigh coming from a class room he had just passed. Curious, he peered inside. There stood the one and only Arisa Uotani. she was staring out the window with -was it sadness?- written on her eyes.

"Miss Uotani?" Yuki asked, setting down his papers by the door, and walking inside.

"Ah! Oh, You scared me." She smiled, as if trying to mask some pain.

"Are you alright?" Yuki asked, somewhat hesitantly. after all, he didn't want to pry.

"I... well..." She paused, and looked out the window again; her hands resting against the window sill gently.

"They're really in love. aren't they?" She asked. For the first time since he had wondered in, Yuki looked to see where Arisa was looking. it pained him, really, to see Tohru and Kyo talking; smiling; like that. they were seated pretty far away from the school, out under the cherry blossom tree. a very romantic setting.

"I... I'm sure Tohru can take care of herself if they are." Yuki replied slowly. In all truth, he didn't want them to be in love either. he had real feelings for Tohru. Arisa smiled weakly.

"I'm not asking because of her." Her eyes stayed trained on the couple; trying not to show too much emotion on her face. Yuki stared at her in disbelief.

"You're... not?" Arisa turned to face him.

"I guess you wouldn't know, but... when I like guys... I tend to, well... pick on them, I guess you could say. it's a bit of a habit. but... it always makes them not like me. It's just not something I can help, you know? I can't just become all flirty around guys, I just clam up; get too nervous. besides" Arisa sighed, and turned once more back to the window.
"It's not exactly like me to be girly." Yuki didn't say anything. what could he say?

"Maybe you could try being yourself around Kyo?" It was lame advise, he knew, but it gave him something to say at least.

"I don't know how that would help. the only people who have ever excepted me for being myself were Tohru and Hana. but, I don't swing that way." Arisa smiled a little. she wasn't exactly used to sharing her feelings with people, especially when it involved love, but right now... she just felt so vulnerable, and she needed an out.

"Maybe you just haven't given anyone else the chance." Yuki took another step towards the window, and leaned against it, next to her.

"Do you really think it will help?" Arisa asked, not hiding her hope and fear anymore.

"I think it's worth the risk." Yuki looked down at her, as Arisa smiled back up at him. she smiled and bolted out of the room, not uttering another word.
