Disclaimer: I do not own Lizzie McGuire (the character or the show). That's what Fan Fiction means ;)

I know it's kinda weird that I've been doing Harry Potter, Kingdom Keepers, Doctor Who, and Star Trek stories and now I'm doing a Disney TV show story, but me and my sister were doing random ships and I got this one, so yeah.

Another thanks to americanathogwarts for some more great advice plus a compliment on my Fairy Lights: Stories of the Yule Ball collection. I will do Fleur and Roger Davies next, great idea! :)

And again, I welcome anonymous reviewers! This means people with no account! I just thought I'd make that clear again ;)

Okay, here's the story now:

Lizzie McGuire stepped off the school bus all alone. Of all weeks for Miranda to be sick, it had to be the same one that Gordo was in Hawaii.

"Where're your little friends?" someone said tauntingly. Kate. Lizzie just shook her head and continued into school. It did no good to argue with Kate.

Lizzie felt strangely alone as she entered the classroom. Though Kate was whispering with Ethan, she managed to smirk at Lizzie as she walked past.

Lizzie rolled her eyes. "Whatever," she said in her best not caring voice.

Kate rolled her eyes back at Lizzie. "Everybody knows you're not anybody without your silly little friends," she said in that annoying all knowing tone. "Not that you are with them, either." She laughed to herself.

Lizzie glared at Kate rather evilly. Ethan held up his hands. "I didn't say anything, McGuire."

Lizzie laughed inwardly. She couldn't be mad at Ethan even if he hadn't said anything. He was so cute, so funny, so-

"We're waiting," Kate said, rolling her eyes.

"Whatever," Lizzie just repeated, sliding into her seat.

"So you're not mad at me?" Ethan said again, grinning.

Lizzie grinned back, "No-no."

"Why're you smiling that stupid grin?" Kate said, but it was obvious she was jealous.

Ethan stood up. "Not cool, man," he said. "That's not a stupid grin."

Lizzie giggled. "Not mine, anyway," she said. She couldn't help it, and now Ethan seemed to be on her side, too!

Ethan laughed.

"That's not cool, man!" she said, though rather desperately.

Ethan held up his hands again. He always did that for some reason. "Don't make fun of me," he said, though he didn't seem to be able to keep a straight face. "I'm a really serious person."

Lizzie laughed, though more at the furious look on Kate's face then at Ethan's statement.

Ethan appeared pleased. "I am," he said insistently. "And I'm pretty serious when I say I'm sick of you, Kate."

Lizzie's mouth fell open. "Really?" she exclaimed, staring at the horrified look on Kate's face.

"Really."

She could hardly laugh before Ethan's arms were around her.

So, did you like it? Review it and tell me please! I know it's a different genre, and you're probably different readers, so I just thought I'd let you know that I'll thank the people who review my stories in the A/N in whatever my next story is. Now, for the people I need to thank this time:

KingdomKeeper4Ever

Amanda Katniss Granger (love the username, great combination of Kingdom Keepers, Hunger Games, and Harry Potter! Though I do hate Amanda... but anyway)

I also realize I never thanked James Birdsong, so, well, I'm thanking you now!

Anyway, this is getting kinda long, so I'll rap up!

Review my stories!

Linley :)
