I wrote the poem in school, which was who knows when. Anyway SonicTeam owns all Sonic characters.

I am on my way home... I am so happy. I went on holiday with my family and now we are on the way back to Station Square. I have met a lot of nice and lovely people here. I have lots of friends... It will be great to see them again. My mother said we should stop and have a rest before we got home.

We stopped at a shop and I could see the place I had missed for so long. "Mum... Can I run ahead please?" My mother knew I was a fast runner so she just nodded and I was off.

As I ran along, the large mountains seemed to loom over the forests and rivers... I know I am getting close. It is just over a few more hills...

I arrived in a town; it's still and dark
No lights, no sounds, not even a dog barked
The houses empty, no light shined
In the takeaway places, no one dined

The town was empty; there's nothing here
So just to make sure I said "Anyone there"
With only one light it isn't very bright
What happened to the other streetlights?

It's getting darker- Hey there's a house
What was that sound? Was it a mouse?
Oh no, what was that I heard a click?
I wish I stayed home and watched a movie flick

Something in the house dragged along
Won't be long until I'm long gone
"Sometime soon I'll be out of here!"
So I just fled from then and there

In the morning I had a look for the town
There's nothing here; the fright made me frown
No building, no station, no people walking
Around all the trees, no one was talking

My mother should have gotten here by now... Where has she gone? "Mother!" I called loudly in some hope of her answering.

"CHAAAOOO!" My best friend called with me, it sounded worried and scared.

"Don't be scared Cheese... I sure mum is fine..." Somehow the chill in my bones told me otherwise.

That's all I've got...short idea, short story. There is no more to this story.
