"Hush little one" a very tired Sarah Mackenzie rocked her two month old daughter Andrea Javana her stomach still hurt from the stitches being removed from the emergency cesarean – section but finally being a parent it was worth all the pain.
Andrea latched on to her breasts and fed happily Sarah got the feeling that someone was watching her so she looked up and saw her life – partner watching her from the door their eyes locked and they smiled at each other "you know I was thinking what are we going to tell little A.J when she starts asking questions?

"With a lot of prayer, faith, and modern day science – I'm still not sure on how to explain envitro Fertilization -- and a very loving and supportive uncle."

"I figured you would, why what did you have planned?"
"I just figured I would leave it up too you."
Both laughed as quietly as they could as to not to wake Baby AJ "so how is JAG going?"
"Good, apparently same old, you know? It sucks not working there anymore – as you know – but it's nice to visit."
"Yeah it is, I wanted to go with you, but its cold out and I want to expose her to the cold that much."
The other nodded, "Oh admiral Chegwidden gave me this." Sarah looked at the picture in her lover's well manicured hands it was a picture of their civil wedding ceremony the happy couple were in a loving kiss as Admiral A.J Chegwidden and Clayton Webb and others looked on and clapped.
Sarah put the baby in the crib and gave her soul mate a kiss "you know Jennifer Lynn Coates I love you!"
"I love you too Sarah Marianna Mackenzie!"
"You know I look at Andrea, and I can't believe that A.J Chegwidden – our old boss – volunteered to father our baby."
"Yeah, but I'm glad he did."
"Me too, come on mommy let's go to bed."
