The creature attached to the ark was almost dead.Sonic and his companion Shadow,were fighting for the world. The ARK was getting closer each minute. It would land and make genourous explosion and destroy the planet.
The monster wasn't down yet.He fought to complete the flight.When Sonic had delivered the final blow,the lizard slid right off.
"Well,that worked,but the ark is still in impact!"Sonic yelled to his companion.
"We can use chaos control to teleport the ark back into orbit!" Shadow hollered.
Sonic nodded."Ready?" He asked.
"Ready,"
The two hedgehogs raced to the ARK."CHAOS CONTROL!"They yelled in unision.
The Ark dissapered.It went back into orbit."YES!WE WON!Shadow?' Sonic yelled. He looked down.The sight left him in horror.One of Shadow's rings was floating in space,while the rest of his body was flying to earth.
Maria,this is what you wanted, right? This is my promise I made to you. Shadow thought,as he burned in the atmosphere.
Sonic walked in the hallway with Shadow's ring.He hoped Shadow's death woudn't leave to much sadness. He found the door that led to the main room.The door slowly opened.
"SONIC!" Everyone in the room yelled in exitement.
"Where is...Shadow?"Rouge asked.
Sonic shook his head."He gave his life,for ours."He said.
He walked out into the window.Amy followed."He was like a brother to you, wasn't he?" She asked.
"Yeah,...I sure will miss him..." Sonic said.
"Atleast he's in heaven."Amy said.
"You don't know that Amy,"Sonic sayed sadly."To go to heaven when you die,you must have your soul saved...and we dont know if he did..."
Amy looked back at Sonic.
"Well,lets go back to the planet as cool and blue as me!Earth!" Sonic yelled, trying to change the subject.
