This is just a poem I wrote ages ago thinking of Terra. Yeah - she is kind of Mary-Sue-ish, but she was okay I guess. I sent this into a competition one day and it was going to be published, but VoicesNet decided they wouldn't publish anymore books after I had sent the permission form in. Well, either way I hope you all like it.
Terra
She wasn't the only one
The one that was insecure
She let herself be taken
Taken into the dark, unfeeling abyss
The 'wrong' side.
But who are we
To decide what's wrong?
And what's right?
We are just the by-standers
In this great plight
Plight for power
Plight for chaos
Plight for hate.
Left to her thoughts
They drive her mad
She's practically split in two
She hates this
It's horrible and unfair
She hates the people she loves
And loves the people she hates.
She has done terrible things
She murdered, she slaughtered
Yet, she has no regrets.
She has no control now
Simple as that
She got so lost she's never coming back
She's shaking all over
Can't she see
She thinks she has lost
She thinks she is gone
She believes it
So it is.
She's gone, never coming back
Alone
Forever more
But throughout it all
She was a true friend.
