Edward is older than Bella, who is still in high school. The story starts off with Bella going to a party with her friend and her friend's older sister who's named Lauren, I think. She meets Edward at this party but doesn't do anything with him. Time passes and Bella has a job babysitting Rosalie and Emmett's children. Turns out Rosalie is Edward's older sister. He sees Bella sleeping on Rosalie's sofa when she babysits one night while Rosalie, Emmett, and Edward go out.
Things that happen in different parts of the story:
Bella burns her legs in Rosalies kitchen and Edward carries her to the sink to run water over them.
Edward calls Bella "Precious"
Edward takes Bella on a date to the movies where he introduces Bella's friend to his friend named James.
Edward and Bella have a fight and break up at one point when she's at college.
