ZAK RUNS AWAY
Zak wanted to watch his favorite TV show, Weird World and turned on the TV. Just as the show began and he was getting comfortable on the couch, the TV clicked off.
"What the,"….. Zak began.
He turned and saw his dad with an angry expression on his face.
"ZAK!" he yelled.
Zak gulped. He knew he would get in a whole lot of trouble if he was caught watching his archenemy's TV show. And he was right. Doc scolded his son.
"How many times have we told you never to watch that TV show?" he yelled.
"I love that show!" Zak screamed.
Drew heard them arguing and walked into the family room. She smiled, she seemed to be enjoying them argue.
Zak went to his room and slammed the door. An hour later, he went downstairs to apologize when he heard his dad talking to his mother.
"If Zak's in his room, tell him not to come back down !" he said.
They turned and a few feet away stood Zak. Tears in his eyes, his body was shaking with anger. He ran to his room crying. His mother felt bad. "Oh no," Drew whispered. She gave her husband an angry look.
"'What was that for?" he asked.
"Go apologize to Zak now'! " his wife said.
Doc agreed he was wrong. He walked upstairs, looking for his son but couldn't find him. "Zak..Zak, I'm not playing around. Where are you?"
He searched the room top to bottom but he still could not find Zak. Ten minutes later, Doc went downstairs .
He turned to his wife.
"Zak's missing."
