Justin lay in his bed; remembering the day. He had gotten to school the same time as usual, and Richard was there, much earlier than any other day. He came to school before it started, which was unusual for him. Justin wondered what he wanted, and casually wandered off school grounds to see Richard.
He had barely gotten past the parking lot into a treed-in area when Richard had come at him, his arms going around the upper body of the smaller boy and not letting go.
Justin found it also unusual behavior for his friend, but he didn't care. He loved the attention Richard gave him.
Good or bad.
Although startled at first of this unexpected affection, Justin soon found he liked it, and wanted it.
He relaxed his head on Richard's shoulder, and held him for a long while. Around them, but completely unaware of them, other students trickled into the building as the bell rang to signal the beginning of the day.
Richard eventually loosened his grip on Justin, but didn't let him go. Instead, he ran his hands through his hair, touched his face, and kissed his lips.
That was something he had never understood. Justin never knew why Richard liked kissing him. He almost never kissed him back. But maybe that was why. He'd asked him once, and Richard laughed cruelly then kissed him, after telling him it was because he had lips almost any girl would envy.
Justin didn't really care about that, he just knew he liked the kisses from someone he was supposed to hate.
Now, as Justin lay in bed, he smiled at the events of the day.
He was glad he lived life as he did; he didn't care what kind of attention Richard gave him, as long as he got some.
He didn't care because he was feeling something for Richard he shouldn't have been.
Love.
