A/N: Written for the Diversity Writing Challenge, Section A prompt #004 – write a poem between 8 and 20 lines.
The Unforgettable Battle at Mossdeep
Trust
was such an invaluable thing –
a lesson they all well learnt
on that battlefield:
Twins and partners
who had to fight again,
together, side by side,
in sync,
Two pokemon
who had to risk their body and form
for their trainer's begging hope:
that idea that would see them through
because he believed they could,
and they believed in him as well
And in the end it was that undying faith
that broke through
the combination of two perfect pieces
that sat, side by side
in that jigsaw frame.
