The young blonde's crisp hair flowed in the breeze as he watched the sunset. His older friend beside him as he handed him a bar of sea salt ice cream. The two sat silently after a long, hard day of missions.

Not long after, the silence was broken by the Key of Destiny as he cried out,

"I'm a winner!" as he held up the winner stick.

"Oh, that's great, Roxas." Axel said.

Roxas looked at it closely with wide eyes until he lowered it down with a small smile on his face. He held it out to the pyro and said,

"Here, Axel, you take it. "

Axel scratch the back of his neck.

"uh, Roxas, are you sure?" The Flurry of The Dancing Flames asked.

"Absolutely." The petite blonde replied.

"Well, thanks," the redhead said as he took the stick out of Roxas' hand.

"But don't expect me to be giving you a gift in return. Got it memorized?"

Axel said as he put his index finger to his forehead.

The both of them broke into a chorus of laughter.

Number VIII smiled at this pleasant memory. Times seemed so careless and free back then.

Those times when he and Roxas could just be themselves.

Those times when he felt...like he had a heart.
