A Sky of Memories
THIS IS MY "EXTENDED VERSION" OF THE SCENE AT WHITECAP BAY; (sorry if the lines aren't correct I wish I could remember :/) WHEN ANGELICA AT JACK ARE AT THE LIGHTHOUSE & LOOK UP AT THE MOON. I'm just going to wing what they said; it's a little fuzzy so don't be harsh & I hope you enjoy! REVIEWS ARE APPRECIATED. X)
"It's a full moon out…" Angelica looked up at the sky and saw the moon amazingly brilliant and bright and something stung her heart; somewhat bitter, and somewhat sweet; she bit her lip down gently. "What does that signal?" Jack wondered looking up at the sky as well and froze a little as he saw the sky, as memories flooded back. Angelica felt his silence and suddenly snapped back into reality again.
"Mating season," She looked back at Jack and smirked, knowing he was remembering what she was and was lost in it. Jack looked at Angelica barely taking in what she said and flashed her a smile. They stayed staring at each other lovingly for a second as they silently shared finally a good memory. Angelica finally broke the moment and suddenly was about to walk past Jack. "I've never seen a moon like that since…" Jack trailed off as he looked up again. "Since La Martinique." Angelica finished his sentence as she turned to face him again. Jack smiled to himself still not turning to face her. "The place where we shared our first…everything." Jack said smiling softly as he finally turned to her to catch Angelica grinning. "The one place where I didn't try to kill you." Angelica smirked at him. Jack sighed a gentle laugh and walked a little closer to her.
"All these years that we've been apart…no once has the moon shone like this." He came almost face to face with her causing Angelica to tense up a little. "That just goes to show the moon will only shine like this for –us-." Jack continued with a soft smile slowly picking up his hand to caress Angelica's cheek. Angelica kept looking down, all the love she had for Jack re-surfacing again as Jack had for her. Jack wouldn't tell her now, but he never did stop loving her. Angelica leaned a little closer, him and her ready to kiss each other, both their hearts racing and pulse pounding, when suddenly it ended by Blackbeard's loud raspy voice calling for her.
"Angelica! It's time for the hunt!" Blackbeard called from down the Light House. Both Jack and Angelica flinched and parted. They looked at each other, widen eyed and crushed as the moment was interrupted. Jack and Angelica looked at each other longingly as she suddenly turned around and ran down the steps.
Jack looked after her wishing it had never ended. He sighed and turned back to face the sky. He wondered if they'd ever get back together. Jack shrugged. He would have to learn how to trust her again after what she had done to him now….and after she…Jack shook the thought away and knew that Angelica would be the only woman he will ever truly love, and he could live with that. If they're meant to be, then so be it. Jack stopped thinking and kept looking into the sky of memories.
