I was wearing a black half shirt and black shorts. Me, Robin and Batman were battling Mr. Freeze in Gotham. Robin and I were just the distraction for Batman, so he could shatter the dome surrounding Freeze's head. After we finished we went into the bat plane and flew to the justice league HQ. When we got there Aqua Lad, Kid Flash, and Speedy were already there with Aqua Man, Flash, and Green Arrow. "Today is the day." Batman said. While we were walking to the HQ reporters, who were pointing us out, surrounded us. I was walking beside robin when I heard Kid Flash say that he was overwhelmed, after he said that I chimed in and said, "Your overwhelmed Freeze was underwhelmed why isn't anyone just whelmed." That's when we walked into the hall of Justice.
Robin said, "Whoa maybe that's why."
"Robin, Speedy, Aqua Lad, Kid Flash, Black Bat, Welcome" j'onn said as we were welcomed into the hall of justice." You now have unlimited access to the gym our food and stock galley and of course our library."
"Make yourself at home" Flash said as we entered the Library. Robin, Kid Flash, Aqua Lad, and me sat down while speedy was left standing.
"Quick debrief of the coincidence of four ice villain attacks on the same day. We shouldn't be long" and they waited to be zeta tubed to the watchtower, which was the real HQ, in space. Speedy took action and immediately explained that they had an orbiting satellite in space and the hall of justice was just a false front act for tourists and thought we should be treated better but we didn't buy into that and Speedy quit as being a partner to Green Arrow. As soon as he left Superman came on a video screen. "Superman to Justice League" he began "there has been an explosion at project Cadmus its on fire."
"I've had my suspicions about Cadmus" Batman said "this may present a perfect opportunity to the…" he was interrupted by Zatara.
"Zatara to Justice League" he said "the sorcerer Wotan is using the amulet of Atan to blot out the sun requesting full League response."
"Superman?" Batman said as he turned to Superman
"It's a small fire local authorities have it under control" Superman answered
"Then Cadmus can wait" Batman said as he returned to his computer and pressed a button and said "all Leaguers rendezvous at Zatara's coordinates Batman out." Batman turned to us and said, "Stay put"
"What, why" I asked
"This is a league mission," Aqua Man answered
"Your not trained" Flash continued but was cut off by Kid Flash
"Since when"
Flash continued, "I meant you're not trained to work as part of this team"
"There will be other missions when you are ready." Aqua Man said
"But for now Stay put" Batman said looking angrily at Robin and me and he and the other leaguers went into a room behind a wall.
Kid Flash looked very angry and he said, "when we're ready how are we ever supposed to be ready when they treat us like, like sidekicks."
"My mentor, my king" aqua lad started "I thought he trusted me"
"Trust, they don't even trust us with the basics, they've got a secret HQ in space." I said as I chimed into what Aqua Lad was saying.
Aqua Lad than said, "What else aren't they telling us?"
"I've got a better question. Why didn't we leave with Speedy?" Robin asked
"What is Project Cadmus?" I asked with an evil look on my face and so did Robin
"Don't know but I can find out" and Robin started hacking the computer
Access denied the computer said
"Wanna bet?" Robin said with a big smile on his face and the computer turned green and started finding the code to get in.
"Whoa!" Kid Flash exclaimed, "How are you doing that?"
Robin kept looking at the computer completely ignoring his question. "Same system as the Bat Cave."
Access Granted the computer finally said. A report finally appeared on the screen about Cadmus. "Alright Project Cadmus" Robin began, "genetics lab here in D.C. that's all there is but if Batman's suspicious maybe we should investigate."
"Solve their case before they do it would be poetic justice." Aqua Lad said
"Hey they're all about justice" Robin continued
"But they said stay put." Aqua Lad pointed out.
"For the blotting out the blotting out the sun mission, not this" I said
Kid Flash then said to Robin "Wait are you going to Cadmus because if you're going then I'm going" and Kid Flash, Robin, and I were smiling waiting for Aqua Lad to make his decision.
"Just like that we're a team on a mission."
"We didn't come for a Play Date" Robin said. Aqua Lad smiled and by that we knew he was in. We arrived and just when Kid Flash was going to run off I asked, "Hey speedster before you run off you mind taking me with you."
"Sure babe" Kid said, "jump on" He said gesturing me to go on his back. We took off in incredible sped he go half way up the side of the wall to an open window but was falling so I got in the window and threw him over me and he hit the wall.
