Come here Monster

Summary: Dom babysits his nephew Jack while Mia and Brian are away.
A surprisingly deep throated scream awoke Dom from his slumber and he groaned rolling over and grabbed a pillow which he then pulled over his head in an attempt to drown out the screams of his nephew Jack who was staying with him while his parents were away on a much needed rest.
"Enough!"
He growled to himself as his nephew continued to vent his anger at being ignored by screaming loudly enough to wake the dead on, he was quite certain, all the continents of the Earth. Dom wearily dragged himself out of his bed for a moment envying his sister and her husband Brian whom he hoped could not hear their offspring screams from their hotel room and headed towards the room he and Elena had turned into a nursery for whenever Jack visited them for he was sure that both Mia and Brian would take him up on his offer of continuous babysitting duties.
Duties which he thought he would not mind doing but providing that Elena was there in the future to help with, he had forgotten that this weekend that she would be back in Rio taking care of business of her own and which had meant that he was on his own with Jack, foolishly he had thought it would be easy but now he was regretting his thoughts that child rearing was such an easy thing to do.
He moved across the hallway towards the room opposite his, opening the door to a room fit for a prince, painted in the cooling shades of blue and green with the picture of racing cars on the wall but not just any old racing cars but high performance ones. Stuffed toys lined the shelves and a child size scale of a performance car sat to one side next to a playpen, waiting to be played with.
Dom moved closer to the cot that his nephew was presently lying in, his tears momentarily silenced as he watched his uncle move into the room like a big cat, silent but deadly. His little arms still swung about and his little legs were still kicking in frustration at his earlier screams being ignored by his uncle but at least his earlier outburst had brought his uncle to his room and so he had quieted his screams somewhat.
His uncle's expression softened at the sight of him as he wriggled his body and his screams became muffled as he took delight in seeing the giant of an uncle of his, a small giggle startled to bubble out of Jack's lips as he held his arms upwards towards Dom, a smile now on the man's face as he viewed his nephew.
"Come here you little monster!"
Dom muttered as he reached down into the cot for the little bundle of joy that had caused his sister Mia and Brian to smile so much and in doing so to yearn for another. He only hoped that if this weekend away did result in another child that it would not be like the wiggling little monster that he now held in his arm, as there was only one child unique like Jack and that Jack himself.
