Good day Fanfiction. While browsing the Avengers fanfiction archive, I have taken notice of the UK Avengers fanfics but am disappointed in their length, quality, and the appearance that they have been abandoned by the author. Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to write an Avengers fanfic using iconic British TV and movie characters. Here are the rules:

1. The Avengers

The fanfiction must have the following characters as part of the UK Avengers: the Doctor (Doctor Who) (10, 11 or 12, companion optional). Captain Jack Harkness (Doctor Who, Torchwood). Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson (Sherlock). Harry Potter (Ron and Hermione optional). James Bond (Daniel Craig). Tom Jackman/Billy Hyde (Jekyll) (optional).

2. The Threat

The threat the UK Avengers will be facing can be from either the Master or Mistress (Doctor Who), the Daleks (Doctor Who), Sutekh the Destroyer (Classic Doctor Who), Moriarty (Sherlock), a Dark Lord wannabe (Harry Potter), SPECTRE (James Bond), or a combination of your choosing. UNIT (Doctor Who) must be responsible for assembling the UK Avengers.

3. Length

I request that chapters written be at least a minimum of 2,000 words. Unless you're writing a drabble series or the chapters are exceptionally well written, anything less than 2,000 words per chapter strikes me as laziness. Apologies if this offends anyone, but my experience with fics that have 20 chapters and only 5,000 words total are that they are not well written and are riddled with spelling and grammar errors that drive me up the wall.
