Haruka Kotoura, the mind-reader, caught the common cold. On her birthday. Nothing could be worse. Atleast Manabe-kun is coming over... Kotoura thought. There was a knock on the door, and Manabe walked in (Kotoura had somehow forgotten to lock her door).
"Happy Birthday, Kotoura!" He yelled. "I've got a special present for you!" Kotoura smiled at this remark. She was happy Manabe cared. Walking into her room he placed something on her desk. Kotoura got up to open it and it was... terrible.
"I got you a pineapple for your birthday! Isn't great?" Manabe said excitedly. Kotoura pretended to like it, but really, she internally face-palmed. What a weird birthday. At least she spent it with the love if her life.
