INTRO
A new day and a new season for us all at the mall, especially after a week since Nikki first got pregnant, but you wouldn't know it just by looking at her. As excited as we all were, we decided to let it go for a bit as the baby wouldn't arrive for another eight months.
Jonesy could still hardly believe he was going to be a father and hardly ever left his wife's side, even asking if she was okay every five seconds or so. "I told you, I'm just fine, it's no big deal." she would say."
"How can you be so calm at a time like this?" Jonesy asked. "Who else can for that matter?"
One by one, the rest of us put up our hands and voiced that we could. "Jonesy, it's going to be a long time before the big day, so kick back and relax." said Jen.
Wyatt sipped his coffee "There's plenty to do while we wait." he said.
I was reading the morning paper heavily, when suddenly I went "Whoa…! Holy cow…!" The others immediately turned to face me. "What's up?" asked Caitlin
Jude looked at the front page of the paper "Man Marries Mare?" the story being of a man who was marrying a female horse "Dude… that is just weird."
"It's not that, Jude. Listen to this…" and I read from the column I was reading; about how Princess Catalina of a small kingdom Borvania, located in Central Europe, has been reported missing, and that all signs pointed to the young teenage princess had run away to escape her royal duties and to live amongst the common-folk. Her last known location was at the airport, but she managed to slip through security and boarded a plane out of the country. Where she landed, nobody knew of.
"That seems kind of harsh." said Jen.
"I don't really see anything to go Whoa about." added Nikki.
"Oh, really…" I said, and I turned the paper around "Not even, this…?" and showed everyone the picture of the princess, making everyone gawk, gasp and Caitlin almost flipped her lemon-hat. Princess Catalina looked exactly like her, a perfect mirror image; long blond hair, green eyes, height five-foot three. "Oh, my god…!" Caitlin cried "It's like I have an identical twin!"
"Dude… this is so freaky awesome!" said Jude.
"It's just uncanny." added Wyatt.
Nikki and Jonesy had to admit there was no mistaking it, but all of us couldn't help but wonder where the princess was… if we only knew.
At that very moment, a young teenage girl strongly resembling Caitlin entered the mall wearing thick dark shades, a red fedora hat and a lacy white scarf across her shoulders. She peered around the mall and said "So, this is what a shopping mall looks like. I love it already."
