This takes place after Team the Ren wins their first battle in Chapter 119. If you're not familiar with the manga, this probably won't make as much sense, as this scene never took place in the anime. Pity, because it was one of my favourite scenes. Then again, I don't think the battle ever took place in the anime either.
Oh, and if the announcer had a name, I don't remember it.
Disclaimer: I do not own Shaman King or any of its characters.
"Ren, you are the best!"
His father was going to die a slow and painful death. As well as that, Ren was beginning to wonder how he could have not noticed his father at all during the battle. How did he even get into the stadium with that form? Thirdly, what the hell was he doing there in the first place? Then again, it should've been expected, as he doubted seeing his family earlier during the helicopter ride had been a hallucination.
And he swore his mother was laughing behind her fan.
"Hey Ren, it seems your whole family is here".
He dearly wished Horohoro would shut up. Permanently, preferably.
"His family?!"
Oh God. Did the announcer have to shout it for the world to know?
"Incredible! Here is Ren's family, come to support him with many kyonshiis!"
How the hell did his family get so many flags praising him and Bason? And did his family really need to bring that many kyonshiis?
"His father is huge! How many seats does he take up? Easier to reach higher places, I guess."
The announcer was going to die alongside his father.
"Ren! Courage! Your sister is here!"
Really, Ren loved his sister very much, but did she have to say that? Couldn't she notice that he at the moment, wanted everyone to shut up?
"His sister! Incredibly cute. His sister! Incredibly cute. His sister! Incredibly cute. A Chinese girl like dreams are made from!"
The first time, Ren debated who would die first – his father or the damn announcer. The second time – the announcer was right by him, so he could die first, he debated which attack the announcer should die by. The third time, he decided that Patch still needed him for the rest of the matches, so he could live a little longer.
A little longer being the key words.
"Heh! It seems your family has become bright and cheerful."
Definitely preferred it when his family was cold and murderous.
Horohoro was officially tied on his list with his father as the people to kill first. Teammates were always replaceable.
