(After Percy told Helen Chase Annabeth was in danger)

Helen's POV

I wish I could turn back time. How could I have ever been so cruel? Sure, Annabeth attracted creatures from the Greek mythology, but she was still my daughter. It wasn't even her fault. Did I really say those things to a six year old? I could still remember that look on her face when I called her an outcast. At that moment, I felt sad for Annabeth. Now, I wish I could have spent more time with her. Now, she is in danger and held captive by some insolent titan. If I were kind, maybe I could have prevented all this. Because of me, my little warrior is in danger.

(When Annabeth decides to stay with Helen and Frederick after the kidnapping incident)

3rd Person

Helen nervously rearranged the pillows on Annabeth's bed. She didn't know how Annabeth would react to seeing her again, but this time, she was determined try to make it right. Her thoughts were interrupted by the doorbell. She straightened her jacket sleeves before opening the door.

In front of her stood Annabeth. She had changed a lot. In her eyes was a strength that you couldn't put into words. She held her head up high, and her back was straight. Annabeth also looked prettier. Her curls were more defined, she had that tanned skin color you just couldn't get in a tanning bed.

"Hi!" said Annabeth. Contempt was shown in her eyes and Helen restrained the urge to apologize then and there. After all, she wanted to do that inside. "Hi! So, um, uh, come in! Come in!" yammered Helen. Annabeth looked at her curiously and hesitantly came in. The urge to apologize was overwhelming, she finally gave in.

"Oh, Annabeth, I am so sorry for the way I treated you!" said Helen. "I mean, it wasn't right for me to just treat you like an outcast just because - well, you know. I guess the reason why I was like that was because you were born by, um, another woman... But, I am so sorry!"

Annabeth's eyes softened. Helen does have a heart after all. She thought. Then she chided her thoughts because, at least Helen was apologizing.

"Helen, it was pretty cruel and stuff, but I got over it. I mean if you weren't mean to me, I would have never known about Camp Half-Blood. Though, I wish the Fates would have found a better way to do so. At least now, you are apologizing." Said Annabeth.

Helen didn't know who the Fates were, but of course, she wasn't going to ruin that moment. She hugged Annabeth and kissed her on both cheeks. Annabeth stiffened, since she had never had this kind of attention, except from Sally. Helen was overjoyed! She had finally made things right.

Maybe things would be okay after all, they both thought.

So.. Hehe.. It's a pretty short story and Annabeth is OOC. I would LOVE reviews and also constrctive critisism... OK. So.. BYE!

(I just realized I used a ton of dots.)
