"Hey Nate, it's me. I know that I haven't visited you in a while. But I really needed to talk to you. Badly.
I was driving down the highway the other day and this song came on the radio. It made me think of you…it made me think of you. I girl was singing. She was singing about a guy that she was in love with, but they could never be together.
I miss you so much Nate. So so much. I look around and you're not there…but then I close my eyes…and there you are.
The only thing I have left off you is that picture. Remember the one we took on the beach that day? It started to rain and you said you'd protect me with your jacket. Then we kissed…
The clothes you left at my house, they don't smell like you anymore. It's like, when you left, you took everything with you.
Sometimes I think that you were all in my head, that you weren't real. That I dreamed you up.
Sometimes I wonder if dreaming you up would've been better than reality…
I was walking along the beach the other day. I looked up to the sky, hoping that maybe I'd see you. But nothing. The sea was strangely calm. It was as if I was staring straight at you.
