AN: Disclaimer, blah you all know what it is. Ok the reason this fic is here again is because now I uploaded it under HTML instead of text format so now there are apostrophes and quotes and all that lovely stuff!!! So even if you've already read it, read it now that its pretty, it really seems to make a difference in how it processes. Or maybe thats just my odd little brain, I dunno.

Magenta sat on the floor of the cell leaning against her brother. How did it come to this? She thought to herself. Just hours ago they had returned from Earth, without their master. But their cover story was so perfect, how could the Queen see through it? She was a mother, Magenta thought. She knew what had happened to her son and could sense their lies. But what would become of them? What would their sentence be? Was there a way out? Her mind spun questions that she couldn't answer. She bit her blood red lip to keep from crying. I don't cry, she told herself. I never do, and I won't now. Riff stroked her arm affectionately, he could see that she was uneasy. She let her head fall to the side, her wispy red hair clouding her dark eyes.
She remembered the day they had accepted the mission. There were many other eager and willing Transylvanians, but they were the ones that were chosen. Serving the egotistical doctor had become more of a babysitting job than anything else, and he was always reminding them of his authority. But just last night, their last night on Earth, he had created life. She remembered thinking that maybe he really was a genius, but no, Riff had done all the work. And even if he was, he only cared about his own enjoyment and would do anything to satisfy himself. She recalled the night that he made his way into her room, leaving only after she physically fought him off, and even threw a lamp after him. She had stepped on broken glass shards for weeks to come.
Earth was such a strange place, she thought, it's people confusing. She thought of their master's earthling groupie, who died with him. Magenta saw no need to kill her, she even liked her sometimes, but what was done was done. She remembered her master killing his ex-lover, ex-delivery boy and experiment, Eddie. It was a hazy image, as he had pushed her and her brother out of the way. And she thought of the couple that came to the castle that same night. She had never come across any one like them, so wholesome and naive. She couldn't think of their names, although the man had introduced them both about a hundred times. She didn't like them, they were boring, as were most Earth people. She was glad to be back home, even if she was locked up. The only person that had ever loved or understood her was still with her, but for how long? She didn't want to think about that. She slipped back into her memories.
