"Hey Yuu!" A small boy with white hair called out. He was looking for a certain friend that he'd always play with. "Yuu! Where are you? Let's play!"
"Che. Stupid bean sprout don't yell so loud. Who knows what windows you'll break this time?" Yuu Kanda said smirking a little. The little boy stuck his tongue out. "Bleh! My name is Allen! I'm 5 and I'm smarter than you!" Kanda frowned. "You aren't smarter. Say somethin' like that again and you won't be able to call me Yuu."
Allen made a dramatic gasp. "I won't say anything like that again! Lemme call you Yuu please!"
He smirked. "Well?"
Allen tilted his head. "Yes Yuu?"
"You wanted to play?" Allen nodded his head excitingly. "Yeah! Let's play…" He put his pointer finger to his lips thinking about it carefully. "Hide and Seek!"
"Okay. Who's it bean sprout?" Kanda asked. "It's Allen! I'll be it!"He blinked. "You sure bout that bean?" Allen put his hands on his hips. A trait he got from the teacher at school when she was angry at someone. "Of course why wouldn't I be!?"
"Then this'll take a while. Wait here, I'm going to get something for me to snack on."
Allen stared at Kanda in wonder. "Why are you getting snacks Yuu?"
He stopped to look at Allen as if the answer was obvious. "You'll take FOREVER to find me bean sprout."
Allen stomped his foot hard on the ground. "I WON'T!" Kanda shrugged. "Just taking precautions."
"You don't have to because I won't!" He protested.
"Whatever." Kanda muttered.
"….Yuu?"
"What is it bean? Let's get started already!"
"What's p-pru-causions?" Allen asked, having an extremely hard time pronouncing the word.
Kanda's gaze softened. Well, Allen was only five.
