My view on the feelings of Kiba (fang)
We never learn much about the mysterious white wolf dubbed Kiba, but it is obvious that he shows little emotion even to the flower maiden Cheza who he grew rather attached to throughout the series. And even though she was the key to paradise I felt that Kiba had truly grown to like or even love the flower maiden, not because she could unlock paradise but because she didn't judge. This would also explain the connection she had with the other three wolves.
From the beginning Kiba carries a feeling of pride with him only putting up the illusion of being human in order to survive. Always following the scent of the lunar flower, he seemed to always have only one goal…. And that was to get to paradise.
Silent but deadly comes to mind when I think of Kiba….
He's not vulnerable like Toboe…
Or as much of a loner as Tsume…
Nor a love-sick glutton like Hige…
Kiba is merely…..the protector.
