His body fell almost in slow motion
The blood was…too dark. It looked serious. Then it hit her, he was dying and it was her fault.
The gun was still smoking in her trembling hands.
You've done it now.
She hadn't meant for things to go this far. It was too late to tell him she loved him.
Sydney crouched down on her knees and ran her fingers over his clammy forehead.
He was shaking then he was still.
Sydney shut her eyes, but her tears still flowed, just as his blood had.
She raised the gun to her head.
