In order to rid myself of the writer's block I am currently suffering from, I decided to write down this little plot bunny. It's short, but then again, when is anything I write long? Oneshot for now, but I warn you, if you request another chapter, I might have to bump up the rating to M.

"That's it, it's over."

Raphael grabbed the kunai from his belt. He was ending this. Whoever this new turtle was, it definitely wasn't Spike. Not anymore.

Slash's back was turned, perhaps still catching his breath. Now was his chance, Slash was distracted, one slash to the throat would finish him off. He walked over to Slash, and raised the knife high over his head, ready to kill his childhood friend.

His childhood friend...

Spike was the only one that would listen, who was there for him when his weren't. He couldn't help it, he hesitated.

That was his last mistake.

Slash eyed the kunai in his master's hand. In a flash, he had grabbed his mace and swung, hard. Too hard.

Slash could hear a sickening crack as his mace collided with Raphael's plastron. He watched in horror as Raphael literally flew across the building, nearly going off the edge. Slash went as fast he could toward the red-banded turtle as he struggled to balance. But he could only go so fast in this new body, being as big and bulky as it was.

Raphael began to teeter backwards, off the edge of the building. Slash sped up, reaching his hand toward his master.

But he could only watch as Raphael fell off the building.

"NOOOOOOO!"

Slash rushed to the edge of the building and looked down to see what become of his owner.

His heart flopped to his stomach. Raphael was unmoving, a pool of blood forming around his head. Even from afar, he could see Raphael's head twisted at an unnatural angle.

No...

He dropped down from the building a few inches from where Raphael's body lay. He almost recoiled in horror. The damage was much greater up close. And worse, Raphael's eyes were open. The emerald green eyes, which had been filled with hesitation just seconds before, were empty, soulless filled with fear and hurt.

Slash held back a sob as he ever so carefully picked up his now late master, cradling him in his arms. Not wanting to look at his eyes any longer, he gently closed Raphael's eyes with his fingers. Knowing he can't stay out in the open much longer, Slash rushed to the nearest ally. It was there he released his emotions. He sobbed quietly, holding Raphael close to him, not wanting him to be dead.

It was all his fault. No, it wasn't. Had Raphael's brothers had not gotten into his head, he would be alive, laughing and joking with Slash.

It all their fault. Not his. It was their fault. And they would pay. All three of them would pay. He swore on Raphael's grave that the Hamato brothers would pay.

For Raphael's sake.

Sorry if Raph seemed a little weak, but I think I would be weak too if I got the shit beaten out of me.

Remember, if I do continue this, it'll be rated M.
