-Normal POV-

The whole family is in the living room, everyone but Edward and Alice are wondering why were called for a meeting.

"Carlisle and I will adopt a new child" said Esme "And please be nice to the child" added Carlisle. "But it's human" said Rosalie "Well we could get a shy one and turn it to a vampire" Alice retorted. "I'm fine with that" Edward agreed. "Cool!" added Emmet. "So it's settled then." Carlisle said.

The next morning, Carlisle and Esme went to the Mercedes and went to the orphanage. They asked the volunteer helper to find a shy one.

"I know the perfect one for you" said Ivy, the volunteer.

"Her name is Vanessa Gabrielle, she is very shy and always stays at her room, reading, she is 16 years old, 5'7" in height, she has weird copper-colored hair and some curls, she has blackish-red eyes that very weird I say. Here we are, Vanessa's room." Ivy knocked and opened the door.

"Hello Vanessa" Ivy said "Please, just Nessa" corrected Vanessa. She had a small, cute and sweet voice, it was very calming, too.

"Okay, Nessa" Ivy paused " They are Carlisle and Esme Cullen, and they are here to adopt you." Ivy announced. "cool…" Nessa said, and they started to packe her things up.

But when they were in the car, Carlisle asked Nessa "Are you a-"

But was cut off by Nessa and answering "A vampire? Yes, I am, my power is reading minds, but not only what they're thinking in their minds but I can also know what you know through physical contact."

"Wow….." Esme commented. They arrived at their house but Nessa was still shy, Jasper boosted her confidence and she gave him a thankful smile.

"I suppose you already know them, Nessa?" asked Carlisle "Yes, well not exactly, can I please have a brief introduction?" she asked.
