DIBS WONDERFUL LIFE OF DOOM!

In general, 12 year old Dib has a pretty miserable life. His sole purpose in the show "Invader Zim" is to give the audience something to laugh at. At his school, simply called "THE SKOOL" he has absolutely no friends. He is picked on, and nobody ever believes him about anything. He gets beat up, pushed, made fun of, and sent to the office because he is just to annoying.
His family isn't much better. When he gets home, he has to deal with his little sister, Gaz. She hates everyone, especially Dib. Whenever Dib does anything to annoy her, she does nothing short of ruin his life. She beats him up, breaks his stuff, and devotes her day to ruing his, in any way possible. In one episode, the short, over-enthusiastic alien, Zim, abducts Dib. Gaz has a perfect chance to save his life, while Zim is ranting on about how Dib is his prisoner, and will do his species the honor of being the first to be experimented on. But she decides to let Zim experiment on him first. The only reason she came to save him in the first place, because their dad refuses to take them out for annual family night dinner, until the entire family is present.
When Gaz isn't around to torture him, Dib normally is alone. His dad, Professor Membrane, has a television show. "Poking the Membrane of Science" He is almost never home. He never spends time with his family, nor does he listen to his kids. He is so busy, that the family can only go out for dinner once a year. If one of his kids disappeared, he would probably never even notice.
Dib doesn't have a mom to spend time with. He is alone. Nobody is sure what happened to his mom. She just isn't there. She probably never was. Nobody knows when she left. If you pay close attention to the episode "Bed, Bad Rubber Piggy" you would realize that his mom was gone by the time he was three.
The reason I like Dib's family is because there is so much to figure out. You can create stories about what happened to his mom. Or, you could come up with ideas on why his sister is Goth, or, How his dad got a Television show. And, Dib is just someone you have to pity. That is why I like him so much.
