Why am I running again?
The snow is so blood stained, the sky...it's so...grey. I see a figure infront of me, but what...what is it?
Who's voice do I hear?
"GILBERT!"
It's the voice of my brother.
"L-ludwig!?" I called back, paniced. Suddenly the shaded figure came to view. Barbed wire was twirled across rusted metal posts. Cement bricks where stacked on top of eachother. Bullet holes stuffed into the wall has crimson around them. The Soviet Union was here.
Then there he was.
I could barely see him because of the fog and snow. But there. Blonde hair slicked back. A green military uniform showered in a deep ruby color. "BRUDER!" Ludwig screamed.
My pace quickened. The wall sheilded us away from eachother. Every part of the wall was bricked...except here. I should say that this was the door in which the Soviet Soldiers would walk in and out of. My hands crashed against the metal cage, grasping it between my fingers. Ludwig placed his hands on mine, panting. "Prussia...be careful...PLEASE!" Ludwig cried, his voice shaking. I was so confused. My eyes watered at the look of my own brother coated in blood. He had cuts down his jaw and neck. His eyes were swollen and his cheeks were bruised.
"You'll come back to me, right?" I whispered to him. Ludwig froze, his brought his face close to the cold cage. "I will..."
"Promise me! Promise me you'll come back!" I felt the warm tears seep from my eyes. Ludwig trembled, staring into them. His blue eyes spoke fear, but I knew this wasn't the end of us.
"Ja! Ich verspreche!" Ludwig smiled wearily. Just then, the Soviet came. Russia pressed a gun to the back of Ludwig's head. "Oh...come now Germany~ You don't want to see your brother dead, da?" a sadistic purr left the Russian's mouth,
"I'm sorry.." Ludwig muttered, letting the warmth of his hands be replaced with the frosty air. I banged against the cage, crying. Ludwig was shoved and beaten to get him to stay away from this wall. The Berlin Wall.
