Trixia was sitting under a willow tree watching Aidan and Crystal play tag. It was a nice summer day and the kids wanted to play outside. Sitting in the shade she leaned against the tree and closed her eyes, I wonder when Emile will be back. Right as she thought about him she heard someone sit next to her.
Smiling she opened her eyes and put her head on his shoulder, "Hello love."
"Hello Trix." Emile wrapped an arm around her and smiled. He looked over to where Aidan and Crystal were looking at fish in the lake. "Thank you."
Trixia looked up at him confused, "Thank you for what?"
"For giving me the most wonderful children I could ever ask for." He looked down at her with a smile on his face.
Chuckling Trixia looked over to the kids, "Well, you're welcome then," She now had her head in his lap, and slowly closed her eyes going to sleep.
Running his fingers through Trixia's hair he kept watching Aidan and Crystal. After a few minutes they ran over and cuddled with their mother and father. After a few moments Emile noticed they fell asleep as well. Shaking his head he leaned back and closed his eyes, thinking about how lucky he is and slowly drifted off to sleep.
