"Axey, whatcha doin'?" Demyx questioned cutely, sidling up to his lover and clasping his hands, leaning over with the most adorable expression he could possibly muster. He'd watched Axel fussing with three zucchini all day, tying ribbons of various color, material and girth to them. He'd bought them earlier that day, and he seemed to be trying to personalize them.
"Dem, it's gonna be great, trust me." Axel grinned rather mischievously, licking his lips with a thick, pink tongue. "Do you know what today is?" Demyx gave a pointed look at the multitude of presents in one corner of the kitchen, then to the special ice cream cake sitting a few inches away from Axel's meticulously moving fingers.
"I was pretty sure it was your birthday." The blond stated, looking down when Axel ignored his looks.
"Yeah, but I found out something else, too!" And with that, Axel got up and left the house with his little presents. The largest one was placed on Lexaeus and Zexion's porch, next door to the left, with pale blue ribbons and something of a crude penis shape cut into it. Zexion would get a kick out of that. The escond one, oddly curved upward, was placed on the neighbor's house to the right, Xigbar and Xaldin's place. The ribbons were purple and orange, and it was easily placed on their front steps. The third and final one was across the street, just the right size to put Marluxia to shame and decorated in ice blue and pale yellow ribbons. When Axel returned to Demyx, the blond was on their own porch.
"Axey...I don't get it." The redhead leant over and kissed his lover's lips.
"My birthday, Dem, is also National Leave-A-Zucchini-On-Your-Neighbor's-Porch Day." He smirked wickedly.
