Beachcomber had taken to watching the younger Autobot practice his flying and other skills even when he wasn't training with his brothers.
Fireflight wasn't really a bad flyer in his opinion, it just that the younger mech needed to really practice on keeping track of where he was flying to.
He just as good as his brothers, even though he did need a bit more practice at things then they did.
After all practice did help to improve a mech's abilities and get them good at whatever it was that they needed to improve on.
And while he didn't really approve of the war that they had all found themselves and dragging younglings into it, he did step up to help Fireflight practice and improve his skills.
Then after each session, he would direct the younger mech to an area well away from the Ark where they could sit together and sometimes discuss how the day went.
