Chapter 1 - Nightmare
"Alright kids, time for bed." Gruncle Stan declared. Mabel and Dipper who were watching TV groaned and went upstairs. After wearing their pajamas and brushing their teeth they both went to bed.
Dipper glanced over to his sister and smiled. "Good night, Mabel."
"Good night, Dipper." She replied and quickly fell asleep.
Mabel's dream
Mabel found herself lying on the grass outside. She gazed around confused, her fell on The Mystery Shack and she gasped. The whole shack was on fire! The roof was crumbling down and a thick cloud of smoke was rising up to the sky.
"No!" she rushed to it and called for Dipper, Soos, and Gruncle Stan but no one replied and she began to worry. She then saw Gideon Gleeful was there too. He grinned as he watched the shack being eaten by the flames.
"Gideon what did do my house? Where's my family?" she snarled. Gideon glanced at her and smirked.
"They're gone Mabel. You'll never ever see them again." He chuckled and walked away.
Once she woke up from her dream Mabel broke into tears. Dipper woke up by the sound of her sobbing and rushed to her side to comfort her.
"Mabel, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" he asked her. Dipper assumed she had a bad dream.
Mabel looked up to him with tears in her and told him what happened. "I s-saw the shack was on fire and G-Gideon said that you guys were gone and I'll never see you again." She said and continued crying.
Dipper wrapped his arms around her giving her a big hug. "It's okay Mabel it was just a dream. Gideon is in jail and won't hurt us again. I'll always be by your side and I'll never leave you. I promise." He said hugging her closer.
Mabel smiled and whipped away her tears. "Thanks, Dipping sauce."
